Thanks largely in part to creative bloggers this is no longer the case. Being creative, even crafty, is finally being given the credit it deserves. Papercrafting, sewing, beading, mixed media and countless other handcrafts are now being thought of as an art form and rightfully so. The humble sewing room is now the craft studio and often the most beautiful room in the house.
So this brings me to the purpose of the reinvention of this blog.
This year marked my 50th birthday and with it a desire to live life without regrets. To live each day fully, love without fear of being hurt or disappointed and embrace who God made me to be.

I agree with you, Patty. I, too, was 'teased' for being so domestically inclined and crafty to boot. I'm sure it was just jealousy but, still, it's really unnecessary to pick on others because they're gifted differently. Kudos to you for your reinvention and congrats to you on 50!!!!
So glad you weren't gone for too long Patty. Whether sewing or crafting in your studio, you are being creative. I have also found my blog to be fulfilling that creative need in me. I will look forward to your post as I always did before.

I love to sew art...I'm not really good at clothes nor does it really interest me, so I sew art if that makes any sense, but then I love other mixed media too, so I'm always torn with how I want to create!
