Take a look at the strips I've put together with the fabric I shared yesterday. This is one of my all time favorite patterns. It was super simple to cut using this technique from Cluck Cluck Sew and the squares are very easily chain pieced together.
It’s the same pattern I used to make last years Christmas quilt and I’m also using a smaller version to make my scrap quilt this year.
I’ll be sharing my first Fat Quarter block of the month very soon. I finished it just in time as I think the next one will be in the mail any day now.

Beautiful, Patty! LOL! Yes, I can tell which option won out!! :) Don't blame you one bit!! My daughter cleaned out a closet two weekends ago and pulled out an old quilt my grandmother made many years ago...I stored it in the closet to preserve it, but realized when she brought it out; WHAT A WASTE to have it out of sight!! So now we enjoy the quilt in my living room as it is draped over an overstuft chair ...LOVE it! :)
Hope you had a wonderful 4th!

So pretty! Your quilt will be so lovely when it's done! I think the quilting bug is going around :)
I love your fabric squares. They are bright and cheerful.
Your combination of fabrics are turning into a very pretty quilt. That does look like an easy and fun quilt. No wonder you are using the pattern again. I imagine it looks different with different fabric choices. Your use of paper and finding is also so creative, I understand how you would want to get back to that too.
Wow - didn't you just post a photo of the fabric for this? You are fast! The quilt is beautiful and so Summery...can't wait to see more!
