do ya like it...

I'm excited to show you my progress in the dining room.   I've had such fun gathering little oil paintings, mirrors and frames for my grouping from this Thrift Store and that...

Nothing on the wall cost more than $5.99...

It is so freeing to gather what appeals to me...not my neighbor or my best friend or even my mom...(love you mom)...

At one time it would have freaked me out to leave the frames all mismatched and the gold tone ones...no way.  But now...I love them just the way I found them.

Even my husband didn't say he hated it...or "You're not going to leave those like that, are you?"...
That's high praise coming from someone who measures and measures within an inch of his life...

I hope you love it, too...but you know what, it doesn't matter because it's my dining room...in my house...and that's all that really matters, right?

(But do you like it, don't you?) Ahhhggg!!!

Blessings,
Patty

I hate red frames, But saying that in this grouping I could live with it very nicely. Besides the cost of these I would have suspected each to be about around 100 dollars CDN, same as in US dollars

I do like...I do like...LOL...love the red, have lots of red in my house, too...I have vintage aprons for a valance in my Kitchen (have I mentioned this before?)anywho, there are 6 different ones on a rod that has clips on it, and each apron is tied to the next with one of its apron strings, tied in bows...my hubby thinks it looks like we have our laundry hanging up...but my girlfriends love it...so do I..he just doesn't "get it"...LOL!!!

I love it. I love to see red as the accent color. You gotta do what you want to do because you are the ones who lives with it.

We cannot please everyone. If it is what you like and makes you happy, that is all that matters. I think it looks very nice.

I really like the picture in a picture effect and since I love red, of course, I love red frames. You've inspired me to redo a wall that I have been putting off. Good job!

Patty, It looks great! I am soooo happy you left those frames gold..I knew you'd like doing that. It makes the red richer somehow and makes gold in the pics pop too.

Love the grouping, especially the vibrant pop of red. I too love thrifty finds, and spending the day "junking",as we call it, with my girls.
