I’ve been back behind my sewing machine again, putting together a baby quilt for my niece.
She requested non-traditional, so I went with this beautiful Moda fabric called Lily and Will. I purchased a charm pack at a quilt show in February knowing I would use it for her baby.
I just kind of winged it with this simple four patch design. I love how the patterns just melt together. I could see a whole room put together around these colors.
I’m back to a clean slate with no projects started (recently, that is) so I’m on the look out for inspiration.
I'm making a child's apron for display at my local quilt shop and then I think I'll get started on some easy summer dresses for sweet Emily. What about you...anything fun started this summer?
Creatively, Patty

That is just darling. I have never heard of a charm pack. I assume it is all the materials needed to piece the top of a quilt~? I SOOO need to do some sewing..and some weeding...and I hardly know where to start- maybe I should just go back to bed! xo Diana
Hey there my beautiful friend! Thank you so much for the bday wishes, my day was perfect. It fell on a Wednesday, so I got to end my day with a church full of friends too, so that was sweet! :)
Your baby quilt is so pretty, I'm sure your niece is going to absolutely love it! I know my sweet pea loves her quilt! She was here last night...she is up on her hands and knees now trying to crawl...it goes so fast!
I love you dearly lady and I hope you have a wonderful week!
Hugs
Missy
