still at it...

In case you were wondering…I’m still working on my master bedroom redo. The last you saw, I had just put up the valance and table skirt.

Since then, I've made a couple of small accent pillows and was gifted this adorable seed pillow. I love how it throws in some additional colors to keep it all from being too matchy, matchy…

I used some of the fabric I showed you last time to make ruffles for the bottom of the lampshades…I think they came out just adorable.

The polka dotted glass on the side table was a splurge from Pier 1. I walked around the store with it for a while and I just couldn’t put it down…Looking at it now, I’m glad I didn’t.

The little birds were on Easter clearance at Michael’s for only .89 cents.

I was using these plates in my Easter hutch and noticed they are just the right shade of blue for the bedroom so I hung them on either side of the window behind the bed...

What do you think so far? I’m really liking it…

I’m thinking a couple of vintage looking mirrors and some shabby picture frames will finish off the remaining wall nicely… so I’ll be heading over to the Goodwill store soon...

I have to tell you that Mr. Seeds4U keeps looking at me with that “what now?” kinda look they get…I know you know the look…I’m sure you’ve seen it from your mister a time or two!

Next time I’ll finish the rest of the tour…

Staying focused,
Patty

I just love the lampshade ruffles (and of course the birdies)!

Regarding husbands and the "look"--you should have seen my sweetie's eyeroll when he learned the chicks now have names--priceless!

Oh, I love the way the room is coming along. Just gorgeous. The bed is beautiful and your linens are gorgeous. The new little seed pillow is wonderful. Your table skirt is so pretty with the ruffle and the ruffle on the lampshade is cute too. Your table top with the lamp, pitcher with the ivy and the birds are so well put together. I think the glass is a great find also. I love the plate hanging on the wall. It all makes a great composition. Gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
