I woke up to a beautiful, crisp morning...
the sky was such a brilliant blue.
Since I'd been promising Bear (and my blogging behind) that we'd start walking...
I put on my tennis shoes, grabbed my camera and his leash...
And we set off...
It was still early enough that the streets had a stillness about them...
The morning shadows holding the promise of a beautiful day...
I love the hint of fall in the neighborhood...
The cool morning air...
and first hint of color in the trees.

You live in a lovely neigborhood, Patty! Thanks for taking us along on your walk. Have a beautiful day!
Blessings,

Hi Patty, your pictures are truly lovely and hold such a serenity.
I need to start walking with my sweet dog again...thanks for the inspiration.
Happy Fall!
Barb
Thanks for making me want to get my bloggy behind up and start walking. I need to get some weight off and start taking better care of me. You know how it is..I'm a woman, so I usually put myself at the bottom of the to-do list. LOL
Not this week though...I've having surgery and someone better be taking care of me! :) hee hee hee At least I won't have to do dishes and laundry for a few days! :)
Glad you liked my light fixture make-over, love it when I get something for $3 bucks and can re-do it and actually make it useful! :) (and pretty!)
Your street is so pretty...that would make me be inspired to get outside!
HUGS to you my friend,
Missy :)
GORGEOUS WALK! thanks so much for sharing this!
What a sweet neighborhood Patty! I would love to walk around such lovely streets and admiring the gardens and decorations for the holidays!
Keep those feet moving...go Bear go!

What a sweet neighborhood and great pictures. Thank you for sharing. Sounds like a great post for the future.
Blessings,

I enjoyed that walk through your pretty neighborhood. Unfortunately, I don't think it did a thing for my bloggy butt. LOL. Maybe I'd better take a real walk instead of a virtual one.
Hi Patty!
You live in such a lovely neighborhood! I love it! It looks like a pretty little story land with all the sweet cottages! My favorite kind of neighborhood! :)
I have noticed when I get caught up in blogland...my exercise diminishes and I sit far too long! Thanks for the walk though...I agree with Happy@Home...I need to do a real walk as well!! :)
Blessings & Hugs to you my sweet friend, Carolyn ~ Cottage Sunshine
Wishing I was there with you. I could have used that walk this morning. Lovely place for a walk. I know you were feeling very refreshed after your walk. As soon as the temps drop a few more degrees I'll be out there and I'll share my walk too.
There is a richness in walking that must be experienced to understand. Lovely stroll. I only wish fall was here ... in Southeast Texas. Patience.
What a delightful neighborhood. Thanks for inviting me on your walk :-)
I love your porch pillows, Patty! I'm temporarily minus a walking partner so I was happy to go on a virtual walk with you instead. Thanks for the exercise so I can avoid blogging butt along with sewing behind, lol.
Looks like a very sweet neighborhood. I don't think fall is happening here anytime soon. It was 99 today and will be high 90's all week. YUCK!
Patty- Beautiful walk about! I love all the diversity and pretty homes in your neighborhood. It's not all cookie cutter-each one has its own personality. I'll bring the coffee and we'll meet in those chairs out in the front there. Do you think the neighbors will mind?>) Hugs- Diana
what a sweet neighborhood...thanks for the walk..
Blessings,
Kathy
This beautiful post made me smile. 2 days ago my mom, the girls and I took a long walk down the path that follows the creek through town. Coming back home we decided to come through neighborhoods. Mom commented that she was enjoying it so much. "I drive by these houses all the time but I never really see them like this!"
Blessings, Debbie
