be mine...

I just finished a couple of Valentine pillows for my front porch and I liked the design of them so much that I decided to make a couple of tags using the same sketch.

Like many of you...I have way more stuff than I will probably ever have time to use so I decided this year to only use what I have on hand before I head out to the craft/fabric store for more. So I pulled out some red, pink and blue fabric that I bought somewhere cause I just had to have it, and I started to sketch a design based on those fabrics.

It was actually kind of fun, so I thought I would do the same and making up some matching tags. I found this great pack of Collage Press papers in my stash that matched the fabric almost perfectly. Of course finding coordinating doo-dads was no problem either.

The hearts were cut out with my Silouette...the bottom border punch is from Martha Stewart and I just love it...the stamp is from TPC studio..the edges were antiqued with tea stain distressing ink.

the pillows...

I wish I could identify the fabric but I've had it a while and it is probably all from different companies but I thought it coordinated well without being too matchy, matchy.

Sticking to my not purchasing anything rule...I found some fiberfill in the attic and made pillow forms. Whoo...hoo...I'm on a roll now.
Did I mention I'm going to CHA (Craft and Hobby Association trade/craft show) this Friday...I will have to cross my fingers when I go in cause there is no way I'm not gonna find something I just gotta have!
Needing willpower,
Patty

Patty, Are you going to the CHA Craft SuperShow on Friday or the trade show which starts Sunday? Have you been before?

I am going to the regular person part on Friday. Never been but am looking forward to it. I have been to a few Internation Quilt shows but never CHA. Will you be there?

I will be at both shows, as long as the flights cooperate. I was at the ones in Orlando too, where I found lots of cardmaking supplies I had to have. You'll really enjoy it, I think. So many demos and so much shopping. Have fun!
