Speaking of natures beauty...my dad chaffuered us out to see the wildflowers in the mountains near where they live. All though we were about a week early, with my mom's keen eye, I did snap a few photos to share...
Some of you know that my dad is facing surgery next week (3/22/2010) for a small spot of cancer they found on his tongue. It is in the early stages and the doctor is confident that he can remove it all with little permanent side effects. He underwent a full body scan to make sure it had not spred elsewhere and PRAISE GOD it was not detected anywhere else. Please continue to pray for him through this surgery as he has other chronic medical conditions that will make the surgery more risky for him. I am so thankful and blessed to still have both my parents on this side of heaven and I don't ever want to take that blessing for granted.
I hope you take a moment or two this weekend to enjoy nature's beauty...
Blessings,
Patty

The wildflowers were my favorite thing about SoCal!
I will say a prayer for you dad. I am grateful that I have both of my parents still around. Both sets of grandparents are gone.
I love all your garden pics...I scrolled down to the other post and looked. I am jealous. It is still dreary and under 50 here. At least the snow melted. :) Beggars can't be choosers.
The pics of the wildflower field is so pretty. God is such an amazing artist! :)
I will be praying for you dad.....we know who the great physician is. :)
God bless you!
What wonderful photo you have captured here Patty! I especially like the one of your Dad! Great idea!!
I will keep him in my prayers on the 22nd and if you would, please say a prayer for my husband who PRAISE GOD is cancer free and is undergoing surgery on the 23rd to have his Port removed. We pray he will not be needing it any longer!!
Prayers going up for Dad!!! Yes you are blessed to have them both and how wonderful that you are close enough to spend precious time with them!!
I have been working on posting something now for 30 minutes lets see if this works. Had a wonderful time last night you are such a blessing and very talented. I was in awe with all of your crafting items. I felt like a kid in the candy store. I am glad to hear your dad is doing better. He is so adorable. God bless you my dear and talented friend and thanks for making me feel so talented and accomplished Moniue
