a bounty...

This world of blogging is wonderful...
I have met some of the most amazingly generous women out there and all from the simple stroke of a keyboard and the snap of a picture...

A few weeks ago one such lovely lady mentioned that she had some extra zinnia seeds to give away...
I had seen her gorgeous blooms so I was quick to raise my hand...

Last week an envelope arrived in the mail and I thought "Yeah, my zinnia seeds are here".  I didn't rush to open the envelope because my life is kind of frazzled right now and I didn't want to lose them.

Today I sat down and opened up the envelope...
All I can say is thank you Becca at A Southern Garden by Becca you are too kind.

Just look at them ladies...
Aren't they beautiful?

Oh, now I'm longing to go out and til that soil and get ready for next years bounty.
I'm determined that this is what the back of our pick-up will look like next year!

I'm so glad I started blogging...I can't imagine not visiting with my new friends.  And this bounty of seeds...well, that's just a bonus!

Blessed again,
Patty

I share your feelings on blogging. Did I have a life before it? LOL.
How sweet of Becca to share her seeds with you. Next year when your flowers are in bloom, it will no doubt remind you of her and this kind gesture. Love the pick up truck picture too.

That is so nice of your friend to send those seeds. And with your green thumb, you will have a bumper crop going in no time!

How nice for a blogging friend to send you those seeds. I didn't even know zinnias made seed. Oops, I threw my poor wilted dead zinnias away.

How sweet of Becca. I really enjoy her blog, too. Yes, blogging is filled with the best ladies I've ever met - YOU, for one.

Patty-I'm with you! I cannot believe the generosity and the wondefulness (is that a word?) of the women I have met since I started blogging...and I just really got "out there" in the past couple of months. There is so much kinship and connection to kindred souls that it truly makes me belive that God had a hand in creating BlogWorld! Diana

I'm looking forward to your gardens in the spring. Good luck with them cause you know some seeds are just finicky. I rec'd a bunch last year and some did Ok while some never made a showing.

Love ya much
