book totes...

I hope you had a peaceful Veteran's Day. It was nice to have a day off in the middle of the week to just be lazy and play. I broke out the glitter for some tag ornaments yesterday and now everyone including the dog, is wearing it somewhere. I've swept and showered and washed clothes but we all still seem to be sparkling. I'll share those with you tomorrow...but for today I wanted to show you these book totes.

In between the hustle and bustle of our busy household, I have been working on these book totes. The cute fabric is from Moda - Happy Camper line. I bought a set of charm squares (5x5) at the quilt show in Houston. I love the retro 40's kind of look to them. I made the rosettes from tulle and ribbon, added the cluster of buttons, big bow and extra wide ric rac for a fun touch.
